Deaf School Visit

Julie Virjee, our Director was humbled and honored to have spent the past few days with around 60 students at Fair Children Deaf School. They range in age from 4 to about 20--some never really know their ages. All are deaf, some severely disabled both mentally and physically. Some have parents, some a guardian, some orphans. One lovely 7 year old village boy was found at the home of his parents, albeit living among the pigs. A tragedy when parents do not know how to care for their hearing impaired children. They all now have food, an education, a loving staff and a home. They are taught they have rights as deaf children; religious freedom, freedom from discrimination, freedom from being abused and freedom to have a fruitful life.
